Today and yesterday I have been out with Garry on some classic and esoteric scrambles in Snowdonia.
Yesterday we headed to Mynydd Mawr as a team of 3 with Paul. We climbed the atmospheric "Sentries' Ridge" a great route with an alpine feel to it - looseness, gandarmes, warm weather and a fine arete, the only unalpine thing was the midges. The aim of the day being for Garry to get some shots of the route for a new guidebook he is writing with the ground up team.

Today I have been up a gully beside Milestone Buttress and then up the continuation wall above to get some more shots for the guidebook. It sounds like the book is going to be great, full of lots of photos and easy to follow descriptions and should be out ready for next summers scrambling!
